So today my mother, sister, and I strolled over to Columbus, Mississippi to grab our groceries at the military base like we just so happened to do every two weeks where our usual adventure took a side turn in the form of going to the mall. You heard of Black Friday well this is Black Saturday. Normally, if you were a guy, you wouldn’t think that going shopping with your sister and your mom would be so cool. Well, okay, I wasn’t technically with them all that time, but all in all, it was pretty good. I didn’t see anything at the book store except an interesting graphic novel about One Piece (so that’s how Luffy got that scar) and went to Old Navy where they were having a 40% off sale. Listen if you want good quality clothes, go to Old Navy. I still have good conditioned clothes since my freshman year…in high school. I was feeling in the mood for some dark clothing (I’m not goth, mind you) so I grabbed a black hoodie, a black t-shirt, and a charcoal t-shirt. I also grabbed some socks (I needed them badly) and a baseball zipper hoodie all for the price of $63. Also my parents had given me some new pair of jeans (God, I love them). So I had gotten a lot this week now that I think about it. At least I paid for most of them.

The Wizards ended their losing streak with a win over the Pelicans, and thank God Alabama beat Auburn. I take that rivalry almost as seriously as Ravens–Steelers (almost). Now I can sleep happy tonight as everything winds down, and I pray that your lives has been as good as mine this week.

Today was started with me waking up earlier than usual (7:30 instead of 9:00). Mom was kind enough to reorder my games when the shipping fail due to the wrong card. Then she and my father went out to go shopping for a mattress for me (my parents are awesome. I’m so blessed to have them). My old one should’ve been replaced years ago, but it never bothered me until the springs started jabbing me in the back. Since my hair was getting too hard to manage, I took the initiative to cut my own hair. It was the first time I had ever done that, and frankly I thought I did a decent job. Of course how hard is it to shave your own head? I also had enough time in the day to play Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix. I had advanced from Wonderland to Olympus Coliseum (yes, Cloud kicked my butt) to Deep Jungle. Nerdy I know. After that, I did some reading, writing, and a brisk twenty minute jog. Finally my parents had brought home the mattress (and some pizza) and I helped bring it in. It’s a little big, but comfy and I’m not falling off or anything so I’m good. Yeah, today was a mouthful.

Thanksgiving day, or as I like to call it, NFL and turkey day. Yes, like every Thanksgiving, my family does the same thing: watch football, watch World’s Dumbest, and eat large amounts of food. This year instead of turkey, we had ham (no complaints there). I hadn’t spent much time writing, playing video games, or basically doing whatever I liked to do, but otherwise today has been good. Today is also my anniversary with WordPress! It has been a good year, and I’m just glad to have a place where I could express my thoughts.

Another thing, blacks can be preppy. Just thought you should know. So stop saying that we talk and act white (you know who you are). Speech and activities is not a color. And have a good day with those you love, not just for today, but whenever you get the chance. You never know the next time you’ll ever see them again. Life is a gift.

Today started with mom waking me up for service (working the field basically) to kick off the start of our break. After placing a couple of magazines and talking to some interesting people (ask my mom about hotdogs, you’ll get a good story), we went back home. I had found and order some games as well. Tell me what you think of them: Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix (comes out December 2, mind you), Final Fantasy x x2 HD, Rayman Legends, and Portal 2. I heard they were all good (well, I know Kingdom Hearts is good. I played it before on the PS2 and I just know that Final Mix is going to be that much better), so I think I would like them.

I didn’t do much creatively. There just weren’t enough hours in the day, but aside from that, I say it’s pretty good. The Wizards dropped to 9-5 (there’s always next game and considering years past, it’s still a good start). And I’m going to watch some more reviews and cartoons before I turn it in. Man, I sound like such a huge nerd. Oh, well. Nerds rule the world anyway. Peace.

Today was a normal Tuesday, except I had no school work to look forward to. I spent the majority of the day, besides reading and writing some, looking for some video games online. It’s very hard to find good games that isn’t so violent, bloody, and sexualized but that’s what popular these days. If you have any suggestions, I’m willing to listen. We had a special guest at our meeting tonight and we did what was usually scheduled backwards so that was interesting. I read somewhere that the Wizards fell to 9-3 so that’s a bummer. Well, at least we’ll see Lebron again tomorrow, I think. I don’t expect any big event to happen over the next few days considering it’s the holidays, but I’ll keep you posted if it does. See ya.

I was sure I was in for a bad morning, and in a way I was right, but I was more sleepy than cranky and that practically wore off in a couple of minutes.

School was quiet on my last day. I did had a lecture first thing, but from then on, it seemed as if I should’ve stayed home. I’m glad I didn’t. Having some free time gave me time to reflect, especially on my relationships. I don’t think that I was bad toward anybody and sure I did interact with a few familiar friends (one of which interviewed me as I explained my novella), but it feels like I haven’t been as good to them as I should’ve been. Every time I could’ve asked how their day was but didn’t filled my heart with shame. I thought I should’ve done more. I’m not good at small talk, and my attention span is so bad that I daydream after a few sentences. I guess that’s how the mind of a story writer works. Honestly, I bet people hardly notice and I’m just thinking too much. In other related news, the Ravens are 7-4 after beating the Saints and are in second place in the division. Now if we could just keep up that play…

It was also a marvelous day of creating stories. I wrote a good few pages today. Things are looking up.

Today started out with a meeting early in the morning (it was good by the way). Then I went home to watch some games before going to a study. To be honest, I wished the study could’ve come at a later time. At least so I could get some mental rest before going. I know it sounds selfish, but it’s just how I felt at the time. A lecture takes a lot out of you. Anyway, we didn’t have to do much but listen to how we could better teach others using our new website. Also my sister gets her first shot on stage! I hope it goes well for her. The Ravens are back in last place (good news is they play tomorrow; bad news is they have to win), and I certainly had a decent day of creating. Could be better though. Well, goodnight.
