Day twenty-one. Today was okay. I fell asleep at two again, but this time I managed to get up around ten. It’s not great, but it’s better than eleven. After doing my daily morning routine, my thoughts turned toward what I’m going to do next year when I graduate. I decided to take a practice test and flunked. I took it again and this time passed (knowing all the answers beforehand helps but at least I know how to solve the problems). I also made a resume (thank you Technical Writing class) on Internship.com and applied to two Writing internships, one involving WordPress here. Hey, my internships doesn’t have to be all my major and I heard writing skills are quite valued in the work field.

Creatively, my day was better and I did get my daily exercise before I went to the meeting where my mom had special part where she talked about how our family grew and fed off each other. I can’t believe that Suh got off suspension, that rarely happens, but I’m glad Haloti is back as well. I also heard that the Wizards fell to the Mavericks. I guess they were still recovering from the win against Houston, but I’m staying positive. Some will win, some will lose; always look on the bright side. Later.

Day twenty. Today was much better except the fact that I woke up 11:30! Man, these days I’m getting lazy. Granted I shouldn’t be staying up until two in the morning. Twelve is okay, one is pushing it, but two is crossing the line.

After waking up I did the usual. Chores, breakfast, and sprucing up even though I had nowhere to go. I also prepared for the meeting I have tomorrow. Then I grinded some on Final Fantasy before taking out another boss. Note to self: Holy, dispel, and Aeons are your friends. After all that was done, I did something productive and edited my second book while reading a bit of the Battle of the Labyrinth before going out for a jog. It’s getting to be slow in the creative department and I almost slipped while running. Some guy brought over some wood so my family should be set for now.

In other sports related news, the Wizards had defeated the Rockets in what appears to be a tight battle. That’s got to be a confidence booster as I think Houston was a really good team. Well, I gotta go and see if I could fall asleep earlier. Oh, and just because some people have money doesn’t mean they don’t have problems. Food for thought.

Day nineteen. The Ravens are going to the playoffs! The Ravens are going to the playoffs! But seriously, this morning was a killer. I was tired and had to go to a meeting. Lucky, I was working the mics. I got home to see (hear) half of the Ravens-Browns game before going to a study with my sister. To be honest, I was pretty moody today. What can I say I can’t be peppy all the time. Some days are better than others, though I doubt people can tell since my face doesn’t change very often.

After a nice jog, I had time to play Final Fantasy. I had to face Seymour again, and he’s as crappy as ever. I thought for sure he was going to kill me, but amazingly I won. Take that you jerk! That left me with enough time to catch the Bengals-Steelers game. You know the old saying “you gotta keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. Looks like we’ll seeing the Steelers again in the playoffs. We have yet to beat them in the post-season. All I have to say to that is game on.

Day eighteen. The day started with a trip to the grocery store. My sister wanted to stop at a gas station to get a snack even though she’ll get like four of them at the store. She can be a child sometimes. I thought I lost my ID, but fortunately it was in my wallet on the wrong side. It was a good thing not only because someone could’ve stolen my identity, but it spared me the time of hunting down those cousins of mine.

The rest of the day was pretty quiet. I watched some Hey Arnold. Watched videos on controversial stuff like why women prefer taller men, and the dating troubles of taller women and shorter men as well as who’s more shallow. You know stuff that makes me wonder why I am on that part of YouTube again. I heard the Wizards are now 21-8 and seeing as how I have places to be, I’m going to turn it in.

Day seventeen. Today started rough but eased up as the day went along. I couldn’t sleep last night so I dropped out at about five in the morning, but strangely, I was okay waking up at ten. I did my chores and surfed the web, watching my daily amount of cartoons and listening to music. That’s when my day turned upside down as a few of my cousins dropped by with their kids and my aunts. I hate unexpected guests, especially when the guests have kids who search through my stuff, knock over my things while hopping on my bed, and ask me lots of questions about stuff. Because of this, I couldn’t go out for my usual jog and I had to edit my book later than usual. I had to protect my really expensive things. I also had to buy a new chord for my Sol Republic headphones. I should be expecting it in the mail in a few days. I used the right card this time and luckily that chord was only twenty-six dollars. I hope that it’s compatible to my headset. It’s a white chord to my red headset (crimson white, get it?). I would hate to think that I wasted my money. I did play some Final Fantasy. Let’s just say I was lucky to have leveled up Kimarhi as he had a solo fight to deal with. Well, I hope that I can sleep tonight. I can’t be falling asleep behind the wheel tomorrow.

Day sixteen. If you had read my last post, then you should know that my family doesn’t do Christmas, so it was just another day at the house except with some turkey.

I got up and read a little. Watched cartoons, played some games, and did a few chores. Not in that exact order. On Final Fantasy, I did some more level grinding and when I thought that my party was juiced up enough, I went and kicked Seymour’s butt…again. It was far easier this time than last time. Bahamut and Auron just obliterated him. The game seemed to have anticipated that and had given me a tougher boss to deal with later on in Defender X. Okay, before I go off in my nerdiness, I guess I should tell about the rest of my day. I did some more editing on my second book and got my daily dose of exercise. When I got back in, I spent time with my parents playing dominoes (dad won). I made my sister and me strawberry daiquiri (non-alcoholic of course) and I found out that the Wizards had won today ending the losing streak, and now I lay to rest.

Day fifteen. Oh, how today went…while sleeping in late was not ideal, the timing couldn’t have been better. Both parents were home and the list of chores was cut down. If only it didn’t cost me time in jogging it would’ve been that much better. Stepping out of my usual routine, I decided to spice up my programing with some Ed Edd n Eddy instead of the usual. Days like these don’t come around that often. I did some more level grinding in Final Fantasy, had an aeon battle, another battle, and am now level grinding some more. It’s weird I know. Since my family doesn’t do the whole Christmas thing, we opened our gifts today. My dad liked his new shoes, my sister liked her new Under Armour clothing, my mother loved her new drinking glasses (she was thinking about getting thicker glasses), and I got two new Under Armour hoodies including one that matches my new shoes (strange I never thought I’d be this happy getting clothes. Tell me that ten years ago. I’ll get a good laugh). I’m going to feel like a walking advertisement. I appreciate my taste in brand being appreciated. In fact, I think my family is turning into an Under Armour family. Oh, well, good stuff is good stuff.
