I am well and good again. The sniffles are starting to disappear, and I even went out for a jog today. It felt good to get out again. I did get some rest, but only a little. I had great day of editing but it still feels like the second book is so far from complete just like that literature book my teacher have me read. Thank God this month is almost over. March beats February every time.

It was a snow day…for me. While school was resuming as scheduled, I was stuck at home due to all the white stuff lying around the house which thanks to my fading illness I couldn’t really enjoy so I had to email most of my teachers telling them of my predicament and turned in assignments as well as rescheduled my test. Thankfully, that one teacher was…sort of understanding. She had asked me for proof of said situation or she’ll have to take twenty percent off (not that I could blame her or anything). Thankfully, my mom had uploaded some photos earlier last night so I had sent them to her and pretty much avoided that whole mess. The test is now to be taken at April 14. Lucky, right? Some would say so. I’m also feeling much better now, and I got productive with my time. I listened to some tegrity lectures and gotten even further on my readings (up to a hundred and six pages) then I did some editing and learned quickly how your writing can get out of shape while you were down so there’s another journey I have to go through but, hey, a five day weekend is good trade for the time being.

Today was good all the way up to the half of the day where it took a deep slope. It was a snow day one for the school and two it snowed over the house so I’m not sure if I could make it to school tomorrow. Why is it that the snow comes when I don’t need it but doesn’t come when I do need it. Why? At least my two books came in the mail. I love hardcover over paperback. There so…sturdy. I was feeling better except for my sinuses which is requiring that I squirt nasal spray every ten minutes or so. So breathing is an issue. I did get further in the required readings. Ninety-two pages; need to get to a hundred and forty by Tuesday. I also did the assigned poetry as well and got to listen to the tegrity lecture for Art History class. You would be amazed at how much you can get done during snowy days. Since my health wasn’t up to snuff and it was bone white outside, I didn’t show up for a jog. I hope this doesn’t impact my health in anyway, but at least it didn’t impact my creativity…that was on me. I was starting on some fever induced shorts, but I guess that’ll have to wait til next time.

The ironic thing about today was that it wasn’t cold enough for school to be delayed for a few hours, but somehow I managed to deal with waiting for a while for buildings to open. At least someone thought of a crude way to keep the doors open, an orange cup holding them open just a crack.

I did brave the not so cold to Publix to buy some new nasal spray. The old one was not as effective, and once the library had opened up, I went to print out what I needed for my classes. Everything went as status quo. I still need to know how I’m going to tackle the literature test Thursday (if we have school that is). It’s not like we have anything in particular to study. At least my piece went well in class. I couldn’t make the meeting tonight due to unforeseen consequences, but at least my workload is lighter for the next few days.

Today I felt awful. This month totally has it out for me. It was so cold and rainy that I didn’t bother going outside to jog, and it’s supposed to ice over tonight, and for extra bonus, school is delayed again. In spite of all of this, I managed to do most of what I had to do today including writing my flash fiction piece which is literally called “Flash Fiction” (it makes sense in context) and I had done most of the reading I had due. Unlike the last one, it’s actually a pretty easy to read, but you still got me on the close reading part. By the way ladies, it doesn’t matter what shape you came in, everybody has their good features. So don’t worry if you don’t have or have much of what is popular. You still have some other good qualities about you. Words of random wisdom

Today was pretty rough to start with, but it didn’t kill me. It wasn’t so cold, and I got to hold the mics today at the meeting. I had gotten about half-way through the required reading (way easier than the other one I had to do). I had missed a study session but at least I know what flash fiction is so I could do one of the due assignments. It looks like dark times for the Wizards. Night.

Today was quite a busy one. Did a little service earlier, had to wait in the car for a couple of minutes for someone to open the door of our meeting hall so that we could clean, got a good jump on the book “Jonah’s Gourd Vine”, purchased alcohol for the first time when my family and I went grocery shopping (I don’t drink by the way), returned home at last and tried my best to relax. I know it doesn’t sound like much but mentally I’m strung over and Sunday morning doesn’t like it’s going to help with my lecture problem. Well, at least the assignments I have due are actually something I like. Night.
