Image result for good influences

Quick. Tell me what you did today. Now review what you did so far, what kind of music you listened to, what kind of videos you watched, what kind of books you’ve read (which if I’m being honest, is way better than staring at a screen). This is the stuff that is affecting your mental state and your mood, and the things you are attracting into your life. There’s a reason why billionaires all read personal development books voraciously, and recommend that you do so as well. Because it influences you to be more positive, more effective, and to grow as people. Your wealth can only grow as much you do and that goes for happiness too. Listen, I had been reading some Chicken Soup for the Soul books, and I felt amazing. Good things became attracted to me and it will do the same for you. I implore you to cut out the music and videos that are angry and angsty, no matter whether or not you better relate to it for the moment. Chances are you’re still gonna feel like trash or worse. The small things you do everyday effects your entire life. So pick up a self development book, money books, TED talks, listen to some Owl City, and watch as your life starts changing for the better. Here I’ll help:

Books I recommend: How to Win Friends and Influence People, Think and Grow Rich, Any Chicken Soup for the Soul series, The Magic of Thinking Big, 50th Law, Tools of the Titans, Tribe of Mentors, The Secret, 48 Laws of Power, 4 Hour Workweek, Zero to One, there’s plenty more in your local bookstore.

Look you all know that what you say has a great impact on your’s and everyone else’s life, but here’s something that can enhance or destroy that. Are you ready? One, two, three: GESTURES. Listen, communication is not just words okay. There’s a reason why sign language is a thing. Your body betrays what you’re thinking, and people can pick up on that. For example, if you’re trying to help a friend improve on something, sticking your finger in their face and waving about like an angry parent will not send the message across. It’s confrontational, passive aggressive, and the message will be shot down. So watch your hands, your expressions, convey sincerity. To attract good, one must resemble and be good.

Next time: Why what you read, watch, and listen can affect not only your mood, but what comes into your life.

Gracias.

Listen, because chances are you are one of the many people who thinks your words don’t mean anything, that they wouldn’t do any great damage or any great good. Before you go out today and gossip with your friends; talk with your parents and/or siblings, I want you to listen to these words. These words that I utter with my simple keyboard: “Your words have the potential to shift the world’s balance.” It’s called a butterfly effect to some. You make or ruin someone’s day just by your utterances, and that alone could start a chain reaction that could either bring pain to a whole (yourself is not spared) planet or be the start of something great. Your words to a common person you come across from the street could stop their suicide, it could change your life and make you rich, it could turn a person from notorious criminal to a famous benefactor. So please. Understand your word’s power. Use it for your and everyone’s good. They need you. Be hero. Be a contributor. Be great. Thank you.

Yes, yes I’m sure a lot of you have viewed meditation as some Hindu means to reach enlightenment or something (not exactly wrong, but there’s more to it than that), or maybe not since it is becoming more popular these day, but still others just can’t seem to find time in their busy lives to do so, not even five little minutes. Not to mention just sitting there and breathing seem to be overwhelming for some reason. Look, it’s not hard and there’s different types of meditation…that I won’t bring up here today, but let’s get back to the topic. You need to train your brain, or it’s going to be over run with the constant clutter you call your thoughts. The average person thinks a lot more than he/she probably should, and it’s taking its toll on the mind and the body. Plus, you’re missing out on some huge benefits. Let’s begin:

  1. If you want depression and anxiety relief, start doing it.
  2. You mind gets stronger and your moods improve
  3. The law of attraction becomes easier because meditation focuses the positive thoughts
  4. You focus, attention, and memory improves. Perfect for ADD people and of course school work
  5. It decreases heart diseases and strokes
  6. You get creative. My fellow writers. Hop on this ride!
  7. You relax man. Relaxation is important.
  8. Successful people do it. You want success? Do as success does.

This hardly scratches the surface of the benefits meditation gives, and I don’t think you really need a whole list to be convinced, but if you do check out this link:

And just do it for five minutes a day. You’ll be thankful you did. I’ll see you around.
