We’ve all been there. It’s finals and we’re all burned out, waiting for the fresh breath of summer vacation, or rather spring vacation in my case. As the NFL draft rears its head, I’m a little more than impatient. I am way past ready to get my one exam out of the way, and am currently searching for a research project (and, hopefully, a kind teacher to get a recommendation from) to enlist in. I had ordered Final Fantasy XIII from Amazon and hope that it’s worth the purchase. I heard good things about it, and the gameplay looks awesome and more my speed, but after watching the walkthroughs, I feel the story was a little meh. I had no idea what it was about, but the characters are more fleshed out and real. Goodnight.

I had to book it today. So I spent a good minute on YouTube about how to speed read while reading of course. It was more effective since I got a good twenty pages done, but it’s not enough, and as if adding insult to injury, it turns out that I wasn’t supposed to turn in a rough draft, but an annotated bibliography (lucky I looked it up) so I sped through that assignment only to get confused about whether I not I should put the ones I had in my paper or not. I emailed her, but she was vague, saying put five secondary sources (thanks teach) so I just turned in what I did and hoped what I did is right. I also revised my rough draft. It took some work but I think I might have something. Then I did some mad studying before taking a small break and resume reading.

After a good day of editing, I took a small jog before more studying and reading. It’s been a long day.

Picture pretty much says it. I’m still studying. Why. Are. The. Notes. So. Long. It’s all I did after the meeting–well, I did finish a paper which is basically a revision, drove to Walmart to get my mom some rocks (yeah, I typed that one right), read a little of the book I have for literature class, have to review more of people’s work, and have to re-look at my notes again. I’m just one person!

So basically, I spent the day drawing notes for the test I have on Tuesday. I draw them to understand them better as well as save time on studying. It’s also easy for application type tests. I think. It wasn’t easy. Those are some loooooong notes. Hey, teach there is such a thing as too much information, especially if you don’t even use them on tests and we don’t know what to exclude…but then again that’s your master plan, isn’t it?

I did read a little as well as edit, but they weren’t particularly fruitful. My mind’s been stagnant what with all the crap I have to do this month. I hate deadlines, especially the ones due after Spring Break. They’re like these weights that you can’t get off your back and that makes for a terrible Spring Break. And the weather doesn’t help! Good night. Buenas noches.

Today was so hard. I studied like crazy for the test this morning before heading off to Art History where I learned that we had to take the test at a different building (which I forgot to go check out) before reviewing for the test. In unrelated news I drew my first Egyptian eye. It looks something like this:

Creepy once you look at it. Why must I be interested in stuff that scares me? I am such a contradiction. I took the test. Didn’t feel hard, but I felt like I guessed on it a little too much. Tricky questions. One thing that I learned is that after a while, protein shakes begin to clump up. At least I was prepared for my last two classes and that creatively I had a good day.

I got home to prepare to go to another meeting. I wasn’t going mad but I had to stand up a few times. I also had to read in front of a crowd. Good thing I have nerves of steel. Once, I got home I did one of the assignments I had due so that just leaves two books and a test to study before Thursday. Like I said. So hard.

Well, I’m over the Super Bowl so here comes another blog post. Well, for starters I relocated my tablet to a different location (it was keeping me up at night) and, basically, my day has been a literature day, because I read and studied like crazy. I finished one of the required readings which I thought I would never do (congrats, self high five) and got to three out of four chapters of what I have to study. I can’t pull an all-nighter because then I would be to tired to complete the test, and I don’t like to be miserable. I had written a short piece about Conrad Gessner (it makes sense in context), and I edited my book a little before taking an hour long jog. I watched some walkthroughs, heard the Wizards are on a losing streak, and I think I’ll retire for the night. Night.
