WRITER’S JOURNEY

     Here I am in Chicago. Fortunately, the weather’s nice. I mean it could definitely be worse and I’m definitely getting inspiration from my surroundings. I’ve read somewhere that if you need help to create, move to a different location and so far that proves to be true. It’s awesome being here. I was thinking about watching the Alabama game but it’s halftime so I thought I’d do another blog. I’ll be heading out Monday. Where to, I don’t know. Maybe I’ll flip a coin.

THE WINDY CITY

Hey, bloggers I’m off to the city of Chicago tomorrow first thing in the morning. Yep, the windy city. Home of the fog, rain, wind, and 1985 Chicago Bears even though I’m a Baltimore Ravens fan. Still a great team, though. I’m thinking while I’m there I can get a good feel of the environment itself. I know research is made easier with Google nowadays, but it doesn’t compare to the hands on experience of going there myself…and I got some cash on me to spend so there I am going. My goal really is that my characters may end up in a place like Chicago and I want to capture the city in a way that does the city justice. So here I am off to my newest adventure in my search of a great setting for my novel: The Windy City.

DAILY PROMPT OF THE WEEK

While I’m traveling, I think I should provide a prompt every week. So here goes: Write a narrative about how your day must feel like going through writer’s block.

NOBODY’S LISTENING

Hey, bloggers, staying home for the holidays, writing a narrative about a couple of characters. Ever felt that you being ignored most of the time? Well, in my friend’s published book series, he wrote about how his characters felt that way and I thought hey maybe this will probably sympathize with other people, so he gave me permission to use them. Hey, I got to help get my friend publicized about his work. He’d do the same for me.

Fleana:

     Hey, people it’s me again down here in the lair with my pals. Ever felt ignored? Well, we did for the day. Well, actually we felt that all our whole lives but it didn’t start bothering us until now. Right now I bet you’re ignoring us. I know what you’re thinking. Quit being a baby that’s life, but I can’t help but think that what we have to say isn’t important. So here we were venting our frustration in our art when I voiced my concerns. I knew my friends had to be thinking the same thing.

     “Hey, guys, don’t you feel like we’re being ignored, lately?” I asked.

     They turned toward me and looked at me like I was crazy. Of course I knew what they’re feeling. I’m a mood reader.

     “Of course we do.” Katrina said all big sister like even though we were born at the exact same moment.

     “Yeah,” Said Prince (also born in the same moment.) “It’s not exactly new. People just don’t want hear what we have to say, even on the internet. Everyone listens to stuff people say on the Internet.”

     “We must be boring.” Marion said who guess what is also born at the same time with us.

     “Face it, guys.” Kat said depressingly. “Nobody, hears us. When people mentions our name they just think ‘Oh, it’s just those crazy kids over there’.”

     “Now, that’s not true, dear. We hear you.” A voice said in our lair. Immediately, we thought trouble.

And that’s all he allows me to share as he’s using the rest to write in a future book of his. Can’t let you hear everything, can’t let me hear everything. THE CHOICE: MAXIMUM YOU

Hey, bloggers. Just getting in from Alaska. My advice: don’t go to cold places just to find inspiration for a book at least when it’s close to winter. Speaking of books, on the way home I was reading a book from one of my favorite authors James Patterson called Maximum Ride and I was thinking wouldn’t it be cool to have a characteristics of an animal, like flying like a bird or spinning webs like a spider. So I ask you if had the choice to have abilities of any type of animal what will it be? As you do that, that is if you wish, I’ll still be searching for my novel out there and maybe I’ll check out another one of Mr. Patterson’s books. I heard Daniel X Watch the Skies is a good book and I do wanna see what Daniel does next. I think I’ll buy it on Amazon since my toes are still kinda cold from the trip to go to anywhere for now.

The FROZEN TUNDRA

Hello, bloggers, One here. Brr…it’s so cold. My journey takes me to the frozen tundra that is Alaska. I thought it has a nice theme in the environment, but next time I think I’ll keep my theme searching in a warmer climate. How’s everyone doing with their turkey shopping? I bet you all have some good recipes for the

holidays. Personally, I don’t celebrate the holidays but I do love turkey.

Ever written a frozen themed poem? I was thinking of Robert Frost’s (Yes, I caught the irony.) poem Fire and Ice and I was thinking I’ll do a narrative. Here goes:

Snow falls on the lake of frost and gathers to wind that sweeps like dust

Strength of mind and body is a must

As is warmth that One doesn’t trust

Twinkling glaciers, frost, and crust

My God my poem is such a bust

Well, I hope you enjoyed my terrible poem but I must be going. Besides my fingers is starting to get stuck on my laptop keys. Bye.

LEVELING UP

Hello, world and all who inhabit it! You know everyday I wake up I find the world changing. Would you believe that I found out about blogging just yesterday? Now, I’m not gonna name myself for obvious reasons, but you may refer to me as One. As a writer I travel many distances, exploring new lands to search for that perfect novel so sorry if I cannot disclose my current location. But say any of the authors out there who like to talk novels or whatever feel free. I’ve already have a friend who has published a novel already on Amazon and he’d appreciate some feedback. It’s called The Tablet(LEVELS). I’d buy it if I had money to spend and wasn’t so busy inspiring myself to read, but he said you can buy it for free if you did something. Well, since the world around me is changing, I guess I should change with it. I’m guessing I’m leveling up!
